Three connections do most of the heavy lifting: Stripe for cards, Gmail for spotting payments that arrive by email, and Facebook for social publishing. They all live at Settings → Integrations, alongside Google Calendar, Calendly, and Zoom.
One thing is true of all of them: you never type an API key or password into BookYourMat. Every connection happens on the provider's own site, in your own logged-in browser, and BookYourMat only ever reads the resulting connection status. If anything ever asks you for a Stripe secret key or a Google token, it isn't us.
Stripe — card payments and payouts
One click opens Stripe's hosted onboarding. It creates the Stripe account if you don't have one and sends you straight to Stripe's form. When you finish (or abandon it), Stripe returns you to the app.
There are two things to be connected: the account exists, and charges are enabled. If you started onboarding and stopped partway, the connect link picks up exactly where you left off. Card payments are only live once charges are enabled — if something's still missing, Stripe will say what.
Gmail — payment detection from email
Connecting Gmail lets BookYourMat spot Venmo, Zelle, and PayPal payment notifications in your inbox and surface them as payments to match. The Google consent screen opens in your browser and grants read-only access to your mail. Once it's connected, payment emails are being scanned; there's nothing further to configure.

Facebook and Instagram — social publishing
Go to Social → Brand → Publishing → Connect with Facebook. The Facebook consent dialog needs your logged-in Page admin session, so it has to happen in your browser.
While our social app is still awaiting Meta's approval, connecting only works for accounts added as app testers. If that applies to you, you'll get an email or a Facebook notification — accept it, and Connect works. Occasionally Facebook asks you to register as a developer first; just follow the prompt.

Common questions
Can Becky connect these for me? No, and that's deliberate. Every one of these needs you, signed in, on the provider's site. The browser hop is the security model, not a workaround.
I connected it but the app still says disconnected. Say "I connected it" and the status gets re-read live. If it still reads disconnected, the consent didn't complete — open the connect link again and finish the flow.
