BookYourMat ("we", "us", "our") is a booking and studio-management application owned and operated by INBAR FISH. We operate the BookYourMat platform at bookyourmat.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our service.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us:

Account information: Name, email address, phone number, and password when you create an account.
Booking information: Class reservations, package purchases, appointment history, and scheduling preferences.
Payment information: Payment method (e.g., Venmo, PayPal), transaction amounts, and payment dates. We do not store credit card numbers.
Communications: SMS messages, email correspondence, and any feedback you provide.

We also collect information automatically:

Usage data: Pages visited, features used, and interaction patterns.
Device information: Browser type, operating system, and IP address.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

Provide, maintain, and improve the BookYourMat service.
Process bookings, manage class schedules, and track session packages.
Send appointment reminders, schedule changes, and account notifications via SMS and email.
Respond to your requests and provide customer support.
Detect and prevent fraud or abuse.

3. SMS Communications

If you opt in to SMS notifications, we will send you automated text messages for:

Appointment reminders (typically 24 hours before your class).
Schedule changes or cancellations.
Account verification codes.

Message frequency varies based on your booking activity. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message or updating your preferences in your account settings. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at privacy@bookyourmat.com.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the categories in Section 4 below exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; SMS opt-in data and phone numbers collected for SMS purposes will not be shared with, sold to, or traded with any third parties.

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. SMS opt-in and consent data are never shared (see Section 3). We may share other information with:

Studio operators: The studio you book with receives your name, contact information, and booking details to manage your appointments.
Service providers: Third-party services that help us operate (e.g., Supabase for authentication, Twilio for SMS, Vercel for hosting). These providers act on our behalf and may not use your information for their own marketing.
Legal requirements: When required by law, regulation, or legal process.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication via Supabase Auth, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account information and booking history for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us. Some information may be retained as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access and receive a copy of your personal data.
Correct inaccurate information.
Request deletion of your data.
Opt out of SMS communications.

8. Third-Party Sign-In

If you sign in using Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google. We use this information only for authentication and account identification. We do not access your Google contacts, calendar, or any other Google data.

9. Children's Privacy

BookYourMat is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
